Booking

How do I book?

Fill out the consult form and I'll text you back to plan it. I don't take calls or walk-ins, and there is no online booking on purpose: every new color starts with a consult.

Do you take walk-ins?

No. The suite is private and by appointment only, so every visit gets my full attention.

Why text only?

Can I bring a friend or my kids?

This is a private salon studio, so no additional guests, friends or children without my prior approval. Ask before your appointment if you need an exception.

Pricing

Why do prices say "starting at"?

Every price is a starting point. Your exact price comes after your consult, once I know your hair's history and what it will take.

Do I need a deposit?

Some services do: new clients, lengthy color transformations, extensions, and other services that need a lot of time or prep. Deposits are non refundable and go toward your service price. I tell you before your appointment.

What if I need to cancel?

Give me 48 hours notice. Less than that is 50% of the service, same day is 75%, and no-shows are 100%. Sick? Text me before you arrive and the fee is waived.

Color

Do you do blonde and toning?

Blonde toning isn't my specialty, so I may point you to someone who does it best. Lightening for vivids? Totally my thing!

My hair has box dye in it. Can you still do vivids?

placeholderUsually, but it changes the plan. Be honest about it in your consult and I will tell you what is realistic for your first visit.

How long does vivid color last?

placeholderVivids fade by design. With cool water, less washing and color-safe shampoo, plan a refresh every 6 to 8 weeks.

Welcome to my little corner of the galaxy! I'm here to create Out of This World hair and give you a great experience. In return, I ask for mutual respect, honest communication, and consideration for my time and business.

🚀 Cancellations & no-shows

A minimum of 48 hours notice is required to cancel or reschedule. Changes made with less than 48 hours notice incur a fee of 50% of the scheduled service total. Same day cancellations incur a 75% fee, and no shows incur a 100% fee. Emergencies will be considered at my discretion.

🤒 Sickness policy

Please do not come to your appointment if you're sick or experiencing contagious symptoms. If you notify me before arriving that you're sick and need to cancel, your cancellation fee will be waived even within the 48-hour cancellation window. Please let me know as soon as possible so we can protect everyone's health.

If you arrive sick, I reserve the right to cancel your appointment to protect the health and safety of everyone in my private studio, and the applicable cancellation fee may apply.

The sickness waiver is intended for genuine illness, not repeated last-minute cancellations. If sickness-related cancellations become a pattern, I reserve the right to discontinue the waiver and charge applicable cancellation fees at my discretion, in accordance with my cancellation policy.

🌨️ Weather & travel safety

Your safety comes first! If weather conditions make you feel that you cannot safely travel to your appointment, please contact me as soon as possible. Your cancellation fee will be waived when you cancel because you reasonably feel it is unsafe to travel due to weather. No appointment is worth risking your safety.

If severe weather affects my ability to safely operate the studio, I may also need to reschedule appointments. Thank you for communicating with me so we can keep everyone safe!

💳 Deposits & payment

Non refundable deposits may be required for new clients, lengthy color transformations, extensions, and other services requiring significant time or preparation. Deposits and cancellation fees are subject to the terms communicated before your appointment. The deposit goes towards your service price.

👽 Guest policy

This is a private salon studio. No additional guests, friends, or children without my prior approval. Please ask before your appointment if you need an exception. Necessary accessibility accommodations can be discussed in advance.

⏰ Please be on time

If you're running late, please contact me ASAP. Arrivals more than 15 minutes late may need to be rescheduled if there isn't enough time to complete your service properly. I will never rush your hair or compromise quality to make up for lost time.

✂️ Redo & adjustment policy

I want you to leave loving your hair! If you're unhappy with your haircut or color, please contact me as soon as possible during business hours and within 7 calendar days of your appointment so we can discuss your concerns.

One redo or adjustment per appointment is available for haircuts and color when the result differs from what we discussed and agreed upon during your consultation. Adjustments must be discussed with me and scheduled in advance.

Extensions: If you notice slipping beads, loose corners, or similar minor installation issues, please reach out within 7 calendar days. I can make reasonable, minor adjustments when appropriate. These adjustments are intended to address installation concerns, not replace routine maintenance appointments.

Proper at home extension care is essential for the longevity and health of both your natural hair and your extensions. Please follow the aftercare instructions provided, including brushing, washing, drying, and sleeping recommendations.

If extension issues result from improper care, neglect, failure to follow aftercare instructions, or damage occurring after your appointment, additional repair or adjustment fees may apply. Any charges will be discussed with you before work begins.

This policy is intended to correct concerns with the original agreed upon service, not to accommodate a change of mind, a new inspiration photo, or a completely different desired result. Additional services or changes outside the original plan may incur additional charges, which will be discussed beforehand.

Communication is a team effort! Please speak up if something doesn't feel right, and give me the opportunity to work with you toward a solution. I take pride in my work and genuinely want you to feel confident and happy with your hair.

🌈 Respect goes both ways

Abusive behavior, harassment, repeated boundary violations, and demands for unauthorized discounts or free services will not be tolerated. I reserve the right to stop a service or decline future appointments when appropriate.

🛸 Honesty & hair expectations

Please be honest about your hair history, previous color, and relevant allergies or sensitivities. Results depend on your starting point, hair history, and hair integrity. Any changes to the agreed upon service or pricing will be discussed before proceeding.
